We’ve been talking a lot lately about how great the construction job market has been this year. We’ve pretty much covered that 2016 has surpassed 2015 in building as well as placing labor workers. However, when we found out exactly how much it’s improved, we were pretty excited.
The Associated General Contractors of America recently released a report in regards to Miami and the construction industry. The report explains how although the rest of the country took a major hit in new construction development last year, Miami and the surrounding areas found a way to thrive.
The report continues to break down the numbers showing Miami is up 18 percent for construction jobs! It adds that in 2012, 30,000 people in Miami were employed in the construction industry. Today, that number is 46,000!
